*CLICK ON THE LINKS ON THE SIDEBAR TO GO TO EACH OF THE CHALLENGES AND SEE THE PRIZES THAT ARE UP FOR GRABS! THERE IS STILL PLENTY OF TIME TO JOIN IN!

On the fifth day of Christmas, our scrapbook challenge is.......to use five gold things on your project!   (Both gold and yellow are acceptable for this challenge.)   You can use five different yellow/gold papers, or five gold brads, or five yellow buttons, and mix and match items like I did on my scrapbook page.

On my page, I used yellow pearls, gold lace, a gold glitter pen to color in one of the title words, patterned paper with yellow in it (the poinsettia centers), and used twine with gold tinsel in it to tie through the buttons.

Link up your project to this post, for a chance to win one of our awesome December prizes.  Remember, you have until December 31st to post your entries for the 12 Days of Christmas challenges.  We look forward to seeing your projects!

What a great challenge and how appropriate to use "gold" for day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas. Your layout turned out great! I love the way you colored one of the title words in gold. I can't wait to see what projects you inspire with your challenge!

Wonderful layout. Reminds me of when my daughter was young & we gave her a bicycle for Christmas. Fortunately she learned how to ride the bike with training wheels & then without and eventually we got her a bigger bike that has still has. As for me, I cannot ride a regular bike. Never learned. I ride a Tandem bike that hubby & I have.

I'm not a big user of gold on my layouts so this was a great chance to push myself! Thanks for another great challenge!!! :)

I would have probably never used much gold in a layout. To my surprise, I loved how the gold popped out the pictures!
